Dale, the father, in addition to managing the family group often provides back up to the family on his guitar and piano but has started playing the fiddle. He has been playing for six years now and he also plays the spoons, penny whistle, trumpet and bagpipes on occasion.

He is a past President of the Central Fraser Valley Old Time Fiddle organization in Abbotsford. He was also a prominent organizer of the Pacific Fiddle College which brings in top Canadian Fiddling Talent to teach BC's fiddlers during Spring Break in March of each year. Dale is also an executive member of other community service organizations and other community music groups.

On June 15, 2002, Dale won fourth place again in the Intermediate (beginner) Provincial Category. There have been many other third place trophies for Dale at the various contests throughout the province over the last three years! As you can see, Dale doesn't have time for hobbies.
