Angela McGregor is 15 years old and has been playing fiddle for 9 years and has been studying classical music for 9 years. She is in grade 6 in the Conservatory Program. Rumour has it that she is the only McGregor who can smile and fiddle at the same time!

In July, 2007 Angela placed third in the Youth Class in Prince George. In May, 2006 Angie placed third in the Youth Class in Kamloops. In July 2006, Angie placed third as well in Prince George. In August, 2006, Angie placed third in the Junior class in Duncan. On July 24, 2004, Angela placed fourth in the Junior division at the BC Provincial Fiddle Championships in Prince George, BC. On June 15, 2002, Angela won third place in the Junior category at the Provincial Fiddling Championship. On July 24, 1999, Angela won third place in the Junior-Junior Category and this was her first provincial competition! There have been many other second and third place trophies for Angela at the various contests throughout the province over the last five years!

Angie's hobbies are acting and singing. Angie is on the Yearbook Committee at High School and in the photography club. Angie has acted on stage in September 2004 in the Chilliwack Academy of Performing Arts production of Fiddler on the Roof and was cast as the iconic fiddler. The production had a successful production run in January and February, 2005. It seems that it is becoming a local statement that it wouldn't be a Fiddler production without a McGregor in it. Angela's other hobbies include beading and studying music theory and orchestra at the Chilliwack Academy of Music.
